Making Healthy Juices With A Juicer



I know that a lot of people like to make those healthy juices every morning just to get their day started. Honestly, there is no better way to start a day than to put up your juicer and throw in some wheatgrass and barleygrass, a handful of grapes and some cauliflower. After that you should add some acai berry or bilberries and you are pretty much done with your antioxidant load for the day! I use a power juicer by Jack Lalanne but basically any kind of juicer will do as long as it is good!

First of all I like to use these previously mentioned fruits, vegetables and grasses every day because they have been shown to have quite significant health benefits on their own! You could even use broccoli, which is one of the healthiest food in the world! After putting in the stuff that I mentionned above, I like to put in a few other berries and fruits that I change on a daily basis. For example here is something that I like to do.

Frist I throw in a few damp fruits to get enough liquid in the machine to make it easier for the grasses and vegetables to be ground. This could be grapefruit or oranges or even grapes to get the resveratrol for the day. I grow my own barleygrass and wheatgrass, so I basically just take a fistful of one or the other or even both and throw them in the juicer. Then it is time to get the berries in there. I order organic maqui and acai berry from an online store - they are dried and they don't work as well in a juice than fresh berries do, but still I like to put them in. Sometimes I use fresh bilberries or blueberries to as a replacement - they also add great taste to the mix!

After that it is just about what you like to do. When I am going to the gym, I will definitely add a few bananas to the mix and maybe even some protein powder. This will keep me energized during the whole workout and I will get more benefits because my immune functions are running at maximum. Whey protein also boosts your immune functions if you didn't know that!

Do this on a daily basis and you can be sure that you don't have the flu, or any other seasonal illnesses!
